New Definition for Major Recommendations

Read the policy

The CCAC policy: Recommendations made in CCAC assessment reports has been revised to include a new definition for the term “Major Recommendation”. When used in assessment reports, “Major” now refers solely to immediate and significant threats to animal health or welfare found during a CCAC visit.

The CCAC has also developed an accompanying document, the Frequently Asked Questions: Recommendations made in CCAC assessment reports, to help institutions effectively implement this policy.
