Examples of Environmental Enrichment

Sheep are frequently used in laboratories and these flock animals become extremely distressed if they are held in isolation from other sheep.  If isolation is necessary for some reason, an effort must be made to allow them to see and smell other sheep otherwise the stress of the isolation will have profound effects on the experimental results.
